Thinking about a small 1:43 layout for my niece and nephew.
Which cars are the most bullet proof for young uns?
They keep eyeballing my 1:32nd cars but I'm not ready to do something that large at the moment and I'm not ready to see my cars destroyed for that matter.
Thanks,

Hi Doug,
Suggest you go to Dollar General or Toys R Us. DG carries 1:43 sets for $10-$15. I have some of the cars and they work just fine.
At Toys R Us, The sets named "Fast Lane" are fairly cheap, durable, and expendable @ $14.99/ea. You may also find cars sold separately for $10/pair. I have seen them in the stores as well. Here's some links for ideas:

Cheers,
Kihm

Hi Doug,
welcome to the 1/43rd forum!
fastlane/artin sets are a great way to start, the other possibity would be a carrera go! set, maybe from american slot car world?
Go! has the Disney CARS, they should like those nice cars!

I'm looking into the Carrera GO Disney set, they look durable and I have a variable PS I used to power my Ninco and Carrera 1:32nd layouts, so I can slow em down until they're ready.
I sent CJENT a PM about his Carrera GO special he's offering at his store.
