Skip is retiring as owner of Bullitt. Harvey, the new owner is continuing with the same rules and races. Most all the weekly races still run the 15,500 motors, hard bodies, Nascars, modifieds, trucks. He has started being officially open on Monday nites, when our outlaw group runs crash and burn races with no breakout. A few of the regulars now come in just to watch and occaisionally race with us. I think the fun of no breakout, a quick race and the "fun" factor seems to be something different than they experience racing in the class races.

We race several styles of cars. Trans am sedans, hot rods, 60's Indy cars. The hot rods seem to be our favorite. We call it chicken coupe racing. H&R chassis, 15,500 motor, 1 inch rear silicone tires. Hi boy 29-36 coupe bodies. We wreck a lot of cars, but there aren't many pieces to fall off these cars.

Harvey is doing a great job of maintaining and improving Bullitt where he can.
