Wow that is some very very close times & makes for a very exciting race with some juggling of qually positions through out the whole field.
Well done Rosco a very well deserved qually win,with Dale in your slipstream holding up the fort for Team Pacific with Cam & I tailend charlies to back up the team.
Thanks Les for the great report & good luck to your drivers in the race which is shaping to be a very close & exciting result.

Racing is all done, I just got home from Lez's track. Racing went well...…. eight of us made it to the race. I'll post complete results in the morning, there definitely has been a shake up from some of the usual results. Stay Tuned!

Here are the final results for Race #8. I record kept (did not drive) and we had 7 KSCC members assigned driver / marshal duties.
My observation is cars that had trouble with the elevation change on the back straight suffered. In particular Camber, Smokeio, Chrisguyw, and Rossko have cars with very fast acceleration and feel a little light on the nose would have thier guide lift out of the slot on acceleration onto the back straight with the rise / drop. The driver would then have to compensate on all the remaining laps and not be able to fully punch the gas on the start of the back straight thus not be able to reach full speed on the straight nor achieve full speed on the banked sweeper at the end of the straight.

The cars on the podium really handled the whole track very well including the rise / drop on the back straight, the cars felt very balanced is one comment I heard. Positions 6th through 13th were basically only within a lap of each other so very tight positioning in that group, so not much difference there even though there is quite a few spots. Congrats to Cgyracer, F1Fan, and Aloha for the podium, those cars handled the course perfect! It's not easy to find a perfect car for this track.

That's a great looking track that you have there, Rob - I can see a lot of proxy action coming your way in the very near future!

Congratulations Cgyracer, Sir F1Fan and Aloha on your podiums. Looks like a few dropped races to tighten things up in the point scores. There's also now a race for the coveted 16th spot we will see how that unfolds with 2 races to go. Rob great looking track and looks easy to spend hours in the garage. Than you and your team for the run and making the 33 appear fast on race day.

Something DEFINITELY seems awry with Smokeio's car: this is not where we are used to seeing you Mike. There must be some kind of hidden flaw that is tripping up the car.

Congratulations to our podium finishers: Cgyracer, F1Fan and Aloha. You mean I beat Smokieo. :D This will no doubt be the only time. I recall it being said my nose was a little light a year or two ago. Maybe I changed weight placement maybe not. As long as it made it through the elevation changes with no issues its good for me. On to the next round. 8-)
