I received a few pics and thought I would share these photos...Here are a few cars that have been built up by HO drag racers running out of Valley Stream, NY, here on Long Island.
These things look very cool - they are put together using the 'drag racing die-cast conversion kits'; running the inexpensive 4-gear chassis.
HO SCALE DIECAST DRAG NOVA -This builder left the wheelie bars a bit long, but the driver says it really works to keep the front end from lifting - Form and function.
HO SCALE DIECAST DRAG CAR: RAYBESTOS -Tucked-in big and littles make this look like a real competition car.
HO SCALE DIECAST DRAG CAR: IMPALA -This big Chevy is sure sitting low - ready for business!
HO SCALE DIECAST DRAG CAR: MORE GM STUFF -Ready to run against its Raybestos-sponsored nemesis...
HO SCALE DIECAST DRAG CAR: THUNDERBOLT -Ford-powered vintage drag car looks contemporary cool with this wheel/tire stance.
These die-casts look great decked out as drag cars - No painting, no decals, and the "modeling" is already built-in!
