The coils and metal work on the Falcon is simply beautiful. I am in awe of your skills with these cars. The #21 Coupe is gorgeous as well!

Thank you for the nice comments.
Work continues on the Falcon getting the chassis ready for paint
and the 21 coupe is off to parts unknown as a Christmas exchange car.
I hope the person that gets it will be happy with it.

The Falcon is coming along. Frame and cage are painted.
Image
Fuel cell is installed and the radiator cover is painted up along with the shocks. I used some
small shrink tube, split it and fished in behind the spring. Capping them proved to be
another story and did not turn out so well.

Body and other parts are just sitting on the frame for mock up to get an idea how
this is all going to look. Still much to do but progress has been slow but that's ok.

All for now

Frame is assembled except for the headers

That ugly gray piece on the gear plate is just a shim for the hood to sit on.
Headers are in paint and the body is next.

I was about to say the same thing as Sweet - that chassis and cage is fantastic!!! Love that you added the windscreen too!

Well it's too cold to paint the Falcon, but here's a mock up with the body on.
Image

In the mean time started playing with this.
Image
It's an old Tyco 40 Ford built with a lot of set back and short deck. Hopefully the hood will give it
a longer look to the front. Still much to do yet but it's still in the planning stages.

All for now

Kevin - I am pretty sure you get HO modeler of the world in my book! That Falcon is simply awesome. The coupe looks like it'll be slick when done.

Got a little more work done on the 40. Cleaned up the chassis of some lumps and bumps. Some
fill work and sanding on the body and opened the side windows up a little.
Image
Image
Rear window is pretty much stock with the center post removed and flashing cleaned up.
Image
Still some more clean up on the body needed in the wheel well area, but will get
to that later.

More later

The rear of the 40 is coming along. Added a rear body support and a
a fuel box.
Image
Image
Image
Support sits on top of the gear plate rails, notched for gear clearance and the
fuel box is also mounted to the gear plate and slides down into the frame.
Image
Long way to go yet but getting there.

All for now
