Thanks guys! :)

Dave - to answer your question - the rigs that we are racing are the newer Autoworld Racing Rigs (as seen here: http://www.autoworldstore.com/category_s/80.htm)
Happy hunting! :)

The paint job and reassembly is complete and just in time for tomorrow night's delivery and racing!
(will hopefully have pick of it out on the track to share after tomorrow)

Here is the completed unit. :)

This one shows off the metallic green a bit better (I need to get a handy portable light for doing these inside pictures!)

(Btw - as a bit of a plug - this IS a real company and happens to be owned by member Slot Therapist's brother. Feel free to check them out for your t-shirt printing needs! https://www.facebook.com/PeteysTs/info ) :)

That is GORGEOUS! I noticed and really liked the detail work on the back of the cab too!

The business looks like a good one, and I like the slot car shirt!

Yeah - I think you built an entire track in the time it took me to do that repaint Dave!
But! I um... worked on some of the other projects in the mean time! Yeah - yeah! That's it!
(Darn racing keeps pulling me away from my building/painting... hate it when that happens... ;) )

Got a chance to run the rigs at a different venue last night (Route 93 Raceway in Akron, OH - https://www.facebook.com/10699399616769 ... =1&theater )

We had a GREAT time racing the rigs and various t-jet classes!
During the rig race, one of the guys snapped / sent me this shot taken during lane changes. I thought it was cool to see both of my custom painted rigs out there mixing it up in one shot and thought I would share. :)

How and where do you get the Decals for the sides ? I have my Rig and will need to start working on it soon.

Austin - believe it or not - those decal were made just using clear decal paper and my HP ink jet printer! I left the area behind them painted white so that the colors would be nice and bright (the other option is to use white decal paper)
The rest is just a matter of trial and error for the sizing/look you want. :)
I typically print out a couple different "drafts" on copy paper that I cut out and tape on to check fit / look and then print on the clear decal paper, give it a shot of clear coat, apply and then clear coat the whole thing.
Hope that helps! :)

Can hardly wait to see what you come up with Austin!
I know I plan to do up another custom painted one for my entry as well - but haven't settled on the design yet...
But in the mean time I have the body soaking in alcohol in prep! :D
