removing paint from Artin track

Postby padirtfan » Sun Dec 21, 2014 11:34 am

After quite a few years the graders have rolled into Washington Ave. Speedway to reconfigure the track. The last time I changed the track I painted it with an acrylic latex brown semi gloss paint. I'd like to remove it and start over but I don't know what to use to strip it off without hurting the track. Has anyone else done this?
Thanks,
Rick

Hi
if the track is in good shape perhaps painting them black... or the color of your choice

Thanks for the replies. I'll try the EZ-Off. Unfortunately I laid the brown on thicker that I'd have liked. I got a few straights from dge467 so I'm making the straights longer and going to a D shape. I'll try to get some pics of the progress.
