Highboy Holiday builds in progress

Shotgun Dave and I are having a time working on a couple new cars. He has helped me a lot and just watching him is a treat.

First up, his effort so far in the old shop.



And my hack job :)





Dave took one of the humpback bodies Strangebrew made, cut and filled to make it a slantback.

Mine is a Bob Taylor sedan.



Not bad for an afternoon. Lot's more work to go, but what a fun time building.

We will be racing for slotburgers soon. Winner gets 3, loser only 2.

Remember those fishing tournaments where first place was one Zebco 404, second place was two Zebco 404s, and third... well, you know the rest. We used to invite people to the tournaments and not tell them what the prizes were until they were being passed out to the winners.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking about just shoving everything off my table and building one for therapy. You guys inspire me.
