Sanel Auto Parts 250

Sanel Auto Parts has supported slot car racing at Smith Scale Speedway for two seasons. Sanel is a local (New England chain, NH based) business with a history of supporting NH sports, as well as charitable causes. Their commitment to bettering the communities they do business in is a great example of corporate citizenship that other companies should emulate.

The Sanel Auto Parts 250 was our only race this season with Dirt Modified bodies. Bodies were handed out before the race, and then drivers had one hour to mount them, practice, and qualify. Qualifying format was three hot laps, fastest time recorded.

9 drivers entered. The longer format race made for some interesting racing as drivers who had trouble early were able to bounce back. The winner received a $50 gift certificate provided by Sanel Auto Parts. Other prizes for this race were provided by Red Devil and Claremont Speedway.

3 - Landon Grysko

Thanks Todd. Sanel has been really good to us. I actually asked them for less than they provided in 2014. The owner, Dave Segal, not only refused... but threw in an extra $100 for special events. Besides the prize certificates, they also promote us on social media.
