Trackmate Questions

Hi all' hope everyone is having a great holiday weekin. I am My new Trackmate 6 lane package came yesterday' 4 days early. I had one of the old 2002 version. Ran on a old DOS computer. I got it installed' thanks to Harry's thread about installing it. I ahd a few problems and his fix for switching to com post 4 made it all work. WOW what upgrade after all these years. All works well.

My question is I am using a Toshiba Vista lap top for running it. It has a output for a monitor' I think it is call a VGA maybe. It works great. But does anyone sell a monitor slpitter where I can run 2 Monitors. Or how is this done. My track is so long it is hard to see the monitor from the other end. My laptop has a Serial VGA output I think that is what it is called. Well thanks for any help. :banana-dance: INDYBOB

I've got 5 monitors on my track. Just go to ebay and type in "monitor splitter". You can buy them for less than $4 and they work great.

Thanks Guys' I went to monoprice and they have lots of splitters. Pretty cheap. Plus VGA cables. I am really liking the new Trackmate' I love the F1 start countdown. Indybob

Turns out that "Indy Bob" is really "Georgetown Bob" and about 15 minutes from me!

Yeah, we have at least eight home tracks in the area that I know about and one commercial track. I even have one guy who flies his helicopter to my house to race slot cars.

I've been to Cincy Slots a number of times and race with Bruce who owns Cincy Slots. We also have the oldest slot car distributorship in the country (REH) in Cincinnati.
