Showme showdown tire size question

So I will be ordering tires soon, but we I'll have to send them off to be trued. On my chassis build I am ready to set ride hight. Not sure how much tire diameter you lose truing the spec tire. I am is useing the 15X11 rim. Can anyone give me a diameter that will make sure I have proper ride night.

I measure .895" on mine

John, do you use jig wheels to set your axle height? If so, I'd first true my set of tires, either to Dickie's diameter or whatever size you want to use. Next, I'd determine what clearance I wanted to use from the track to the bottom of the chassis. Then I'd use jig wheels of a diameter the size of the tires less twice the desired track clearance, then build the chassis. Take Dickie's .895 tires shown above & assume you want .050 track clearance. .895-(.050 x 2)= .795. In this example you'd use .795 jig wheels to build your chassis.
