Thanks Guys, I don't expect to be a threat as I can't properly test the 2 cars I'm building to get the best out of them.

I don't have an oval so I have to guess how they will go - but that's 1/2 the fun!!!

I'm using one of those 21.5 Piranha motors and 10-28 gears as it is a heavy car. :roll:

Looking at the builds so far it will be an awesome event just to be on the grid.

How does one bend bras that well to keep it from crimping while getting it in that shape? I would love to try that!

Hi Guys, the trick to bending the tube for the front bumper is.........
I used copper as it is lighter than brass and I stuffed some 1/16 styrene rod inside the tube before I bend it.
The rod helps to stop the splitting to some degree, it can still split but not nearly as much.
You can heat up the tube with a torch and let molten styrene ooze out the tube or just leave it there and solder it in place as I have done.
