My Late Model Dirt Car

This whole Late Model thing is all Brews fault! He gave me this body when I first met him and have only had time to build a chassis for it and body mounts and run it at the showdown and with the crew last weekend.
After seeing Strangebrews fleet of awesome Late Models I thought I should give some love to the body he gave me.
I bought my first Late Model dirt car from a local guy Ken Schrader and raced it for a few years while I ran a 3 car late model deal and a hornet at the same time. I didn't have much time to take pictures of my cars but this one is for me, I'm gonna try to make it look as close as I can to my car as I can.
The chassis is another goofy offset thing with a drop tongue, Piranha motor, Parma gear and pro track tires. Haven't come close to finishing the chassis/bumpers etc but close enough for a 1000 laps or so :D

These bodies are some of the most fun I've had with slot cars, the nose is so low most of the time it just scoops the other car out of the way causing less damage to the cars.

Now if I could only talk brew into the secrets of his decals :o

Once I get the bumpers etc figured out I'll convert it to PG tires and CB wheels to see if I can get some consistent laps times without using tires up like they're free :D

Doin' me proud...................
I just find stuff I like online & copy, then I use good old Microsoft PC Paint &
print on a cheap inkjet..........spray clear enamal on the sheet & "There ya' go"

Made a little progress on the car, the interiors are time consuming to say the least :D
Still got #'s to do and some future in its future!
