Monogram Midget Time Machine

So Rusty (ourwayband) sent me a great surprise. He had an older (60's re-issue) of the Monogram "Big Midget" that Bob has been building. I wanted to try and make one myself and he graciously sent it here. This is 60's release where they changed to red (from yellow) and added the decal sheets. The old catalogs adds to the fun.
But the big deal here is this old Speedway News Illustrated from 1948! What a great slice of history.

That's cool Harry! and we refer to them as "giant midgets" but we like jumbo shrimp too? go figure.
