USAC CRA Sprint Cars

Ok Guys,

I think this is the right spot to post this for all you oval track guys. The USAC CRA non-winged 410 sprints came back to Ventura raceway for the first time in 4 years last Saturday night and it was a great event. The car count was fantastic with guys from all over the west. Damian Gardner won the main with John Voss and Cory Krusmeman chasing him the whole time.

Normally, I wouldn't post this but what was really amazing was a group called Loud Pedal Productions who are documenting West Coast sprint car racing and covering the races. They flew a R/C drone with an HD camera that was really something to see. It shot the cars from just above ground level, flew into the stands and shot the crowd and did some high level aero shots as well.

I don't know how to post their website but if you google Loud Pedal Productions you will see some great video. Just thought I would share this for you Sprint car fans and give you ideas for some new cars.

Final item: Rip Williams "the ripper" (he had the black #3 in sprint cars before Earnhardt had it in Nascar) is a well known national figure in non-winged sprints. He has 4 sons and they are all now driving spring cars. Good bunch and they are fast.
