That chassis looks really cool it looks just like a real model A I would know I had 4 of the real ones in my hot rod building days. Can't wait to see the rest of the build

This is going so well, I'm getting a kick out of how you casted that grill and made it look this good.

Nice chassis. I forgot to ask you, are you notching the front or just flush mounting?

The other thing I like about the chassis is the way you mounted the motor. You really lowered the center of gravity which these need. Did you make the motor mount? Very nice design. Jim

Yes, that is it, thanks. I made a mistake on mine, scrapped it. Decided to make a more modified for this sedan to go with the latest coupe.

But tonight while the paint dries, I will start the Highboy chassis again. IF my 1:1 job let's me. :)

Man, that's great! If I have to be stranded from slotcarland, I sure enjoy these build photos! Make that "these builds keep me going!"

Wow, now that is cool.
If the car runs as fast as the build , it will be checkers all the way.
Nice one Dave

Matters not my Friend, YOU have built a race car. And a damn fine looking one at that.
That grille still gets me, it makes the build. and I think the hand lettering looks proper on that car.

Another great build Dave ...looks as real as the real one looks like another fun one to drive. Think of the racing we could have if we all lived close to each other. We should have a section on home racing world for just modifieds seeing how big it is getting and still growing hope it never ends
