Dickie, that ought to be neat when you're done. What's the lane spacing on that oval? I know they ran Sprints Plus on it, but will it accommodate full size 1/24 scale cars, such as the H&R?

Hey Bill, the lane spacing is 4", so yes, we'll be running 1/24 scale cars on them such as the H&R's.

There will be no glue used. Since it's painted like a dirt track, I hope to keep it a urethane tire only track with plenty of drifting in the corners :auto-driving:

I got the outer lane running last night, and was up til 2am just running cars. It feels great to have cars running around in the dungeon again... :auto-layrubber:

Pretty awesome Dickie! Is that the oval that used to be at the store? That will be a fun track. Maybe we can run those modern nascars with the carrera chassis since we are using urethanes on those too. Hope all is well. I still have your tires unused that I picked up for the 24Hr. See you soon

I did try my Carrera chassis car on it for a bit, and it ran like it did on your track... lousy!! :lol:

I can only imagine how excited you must be to have something to race on in the basement again. I have not used my track in a couple months......soccer season. Going to spend some time down there tonight.
