Continuing with the "Back in the Day" theme. ("padirtfan" might appreciate this)
99" wheelbase, big block, Nash Metropolitans were a very popular ride in the late 60's & early 70's.
I can't imagine how hard these monsters would have been to wrestle around the 1/5 mile Belleville bull ring.
Gotta' remember....no power steering. The biggest steering wheel you could get had to do the job.
Don't have a color picture of Ray Eby's Nash, but it was a beautiful metallic purple & blue with a
great detailed big block Chevy engine. Note the chrome megaphone exhausts. (Well......seven of them anyway)

I built my version a while back..........Another car that didn't run so good.
I re-motored it, replacing the tired Parma 16D with an MT5. Moved the guide forward a bit & new Pro-Track wheels with home brewed urethanes.
Had to butcher up a "not so good" chassis a bit, but it runs pretty OK now I guess.
I didn't re-paint, but tried to save a battered paint job (
too much time at the bottom of the parts box) with some Future.
