Awesome track David. Looks like fun and hope to one day turn some laps on it. So when will we expect your next brass chassis buildup? I really like brass chassis and enjoy building them. Just have to learn how to solder a lot neater. I learnt that black paint hides my terrible soldering and makes the chassis look about 100 times better :)

Well done Doc. This is just a fantastic track and I had a blast racing on it. The big secret in our hobby has been shared once again: You don't need a big track to enjoy this hobby.

Can't wait until our next visit. Maybe I will win one? Thanks again for having us.

That does look really great! Are you driving from the end? How's the sensation of having the cars come and go compared to left to right? Is it portable? If you put a timing system on, what style (dead strip or light) and what program would you choose?

Thanks! You can stand end or to the sides. It is easier on the ends so you head isn't following the cars.

I am not planning on timing at this point but would use Race Coordinator and IR sensors as I am familiar with them.

I'm on it Dave, Have to spread some bondo in the old slots and do some sanding. Replacing the screws that hold legs on with bolts. It's getting there :dance:

What a great little track! Really educational to see your table/workbench, a glimpse of the the RMS Resins world headquarters, the driver stations on the ends of the track. Very inspiring.

Most likely I am making sound harder than it is. I have my 4 x 8 oval routed and before I start laying tape (this is my 2nd track) I wanted to come up with a smother connection than my last attempt.
