I especially like the set of drums and cymbals hiding beneath the track! A very familiar look in my basement from around '66 - '77. It was always a battle for floor space - a 5 to 11 piece drum kit or the slot car tracks. For a couple of months it would be all colored and black lights with band equipment everywhere, then the transformation to a home raceway facility! I've still got four vintage LUDWIG kits from that same era, with some extra different types of LUDWIG snare drums, as well as three bags of assorted Paiste and Zildjian cymbals. I don't play out nearly as often as I used to, so I'll probably have to part with some of that stuff soon. So may car guys I've met over the years that have played in bands of one type or another, be it for fun or for a living like I did for a few years. Your new track project looks like it's gonna be loads of fun, I hope you can find somewhere to set up the drum kit, too! As we all know from this forum, there are so many different types of cars you can race on oval circuits, from jalopies to Indy Cars.
Good luck and... Enjoy! -- Ernie :>)
