Used Duplicolor automotive sprays. PATTOS decals. It's worth it using his decals over the supercheap Ebay specials as his decals have literally zero bleed through as compared to them.

Since I ordered the sheet for the Black Widow, I wanted a "Team Car" to go with it given it has the other numbers. Instead of going with black again, I decided to go traditional red. It's all fantasy anyway, so why not try and make it truly different.

I was going for that older, "worn" look. I dust coated the decals with Duplicolor clear. Normally, do NOT use this! It will eat your decals if you lay it on heavy. I did 4 dust coats in one hour. I held the can about 1 foot or more away, sprayed the entire car and waited 15 minutes, then repeated. When I was finished the surface is VERY ROUGH. I allowed it to cure overnight and then WET SANDED it with 2000 grit. I did this very lightly for most of the model, but heavily in the areas shown in the photo. I wanted to give some of the markings the faded/aged look and it came out good enough for me.
