I just realized, thinking about my project in my gameroom, that I will probably have enough room for the first project (R4 big oval) : When I made my calculation, I just took the R4 track maximum widht, but without thinking that the 2 big R4 turns have a big radius, so they will not be 6feet wide at each end. So, if I think correctly, the lego railway should not be a problem.

I also have another "good thinking". Since the track will be folded against the wall, I'll need a sturdy support fixed on the wall. This support will be at least as thick as the track height (including fences and wood support). It should be at least around 4 or 5" wide, from the corner to the marble fireplace. A long stripe... For HO dragracing of course :music-rockout:

I will create a proper topic for all this stuff soon. First stage : rebuild the HO track downstair. 2nd stage : build the huge 1/32 oval track. 3rd stage : build th HO dragstripe (not scale, but anyway...better to have a non-scaled dragstripe than no dragstripe at all, I guess).

edit : I just played with my track pieces on the floor, and I think I'll be able to make a big 4lanes symetrical oval, and also a 2 lanes GT-style inner track (with included big turn).

thank you for you help!

edit2: missing tracks are ordered (with 4 artin stockers :banana-dance: I finally will be able to have them after so many years  ), it will be a 12' (maybe 13')x6' 4 lanes symetrical oval, with a short inner 2lanes GT roadtrack (including a big turn like in Daytona).

Tommorow I'll work on the HO track relocation (even if I'll have to wait my brother to move it) and clean my artin track pieces. I'm back for good ;)
