Got home about 10:15 . Thanks again to Harry and Cindy for letting me come up today it was a blast ,always a good shot in the arm to have such a great day of slot racing and bench racing . A big thanks to Cindy, and Harry, for another great fun run, the food was once again unbelievable. It was great running with all the regulars, Razor Jon, Dixon John, Martin, Tom and the new guys, Shotgun Dave, BTaylor, StrangeBrew and Karl. Seeing everyone's builds in person was a treat, and to top it off I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. This is what slot racing should be, having fun with a lot of racing and BS'ing.

I made it home safe and sound! had some bad weather in GA when I got here, but no problems.
I could not begin to Say how much this weekend meant to me. It is probably the Most fun I have ever had.
I don't know how That many great people could be assembled in one place at one time, but it sure happened this weekend!
I have NEVER been made to feel as welcome at someone's home as much as I was by Harry and Cindy, They are truly the kindest most giving folks I have ever had the pleasure to call my friends. And if there are better cooks out there somewhere, I have yet to meet them. The spread they put out for us for breakfast, Lunch and supper was beyond belief, and the main ingredient in all of the meals was heart.
Of course I want to thank all the generous sponsors for the fantastic door prizes, and I will post some pics after I become human again, and not a road zombie from the 14 hr drive!
I know I have not met all the folks on this forum, but I can tell you, If any of you get the opportunity to meet these folks in person, you will have met the best there is in any hobby.
I am calling it quits for tonight guys, im done in. Got to go wrap these ribs with an ace bandage so they stop hurting from the laughter!

WOW...Harry and Cindy thank you both for everything you do for this Hobby...If everyone in this World were as easy going and caring as those that came together for this Spring FUUUNNN Run it would be a better place to be .Being treated like family by people you met for the first time doesn't happen much in these times of everyone trying to climb over you to grab that brass ring . Thanks to ALL sponsors and people that donated their time or equipment for me to abuse . Remember ....you fellas that were there...IF you don't have it on video I DIDN'T DO IT . Oh ya...Harry...sorry about the shot to your noggin' with that 1/24 Jalopy....your catchers mask will be in my suitcase if I'm ever allowed to return to Missouri...Slot people are the BEST

These big Indycars Shotgun built are fantastic. This is the first time Dave got a chance to see them raced in anger. What a hoot these are.
