I've added a 1/24 water truck to the mix - still a work in progress.

I've been working on some 1/32 resin cast cars for the Ascot Oval. To start things off, we now have four Deuce Coupes all running on urethane tires with 21K motors:





Next project will be some '33 Chevy Coupes.

I've completed some more coupes. Two '33 Chevy 5-Window Coupes and a '34 Ford Coupe (in the front row of the pic.)


Bob Taylor sent me some coach bodies before he left for Harry's. I've started on the '29; it's still a work in progress.



With all these old jalopies, breakdowns are likely to occur, so I needed a tow truck. This little '55 Chevy will work. It's just like the one my dad drove when I was in high school (minus the tow gear).



I'm having a ball building these jalopies. Thanks to Harry and this forum for the inspiration. I should have close to a dozen built by our race on May 17th. PM me if you're interested in participating.

Those jalopies look great running around there and the wrecker is a cool addition to the track scenery! :D

Can someone let me know where to get a couple of '40 Ford Sedans in 1/32 scale? I haven't been able to find any on eBay and want to build a couple as a tribute to the Okie Bowl Hardtops.

The palmer model kit is true scale. They are a nice 40 sedan for modeling. Most of the palmer stuff is to small, I don't know how they got that one right?
