I have a 40 Ford sedan and a Fabulous Hudson Hornet built up to running condition, and partly painted. I was surprised that the skinny 7 inch tires don't seem to cause them to roll over. Good, eh?

Both are painted partly black, and with the white resin, they look like police cars. I have a set of Marshall Teague decals for the Hornet, but haven't done much with the Ford yet.

We'll see.

Any start date yet?

I have started the process of making a mold for a '48 Chevy Aerosedan
(I have yet to be able to come up with a good starting point for that '47 Olds I want to do... YET!)
Sooooo - if all goes well, I will be entering one that will be based on this...

I am really interested in this proxy, but I don't have a source for a body. I have a '49 Ford, but I think it was said that the later models will be run in a second series. When is the approximate date to get entries in and where can I obtain a '41 Plymouth or a '39 - '40 Ford?

Well I will get with Shotgun and set a date. BD Sharp sent me his masterpiece as well. Looks like a fine build.

I personally cannot see a race date for this year if I host.

Too much on my plate.

If I host a round it would be after the Sportman Showdown in January. That is my main focus.

But I do want to have one. I suppose we have to include this era now that you built one? :whistle:

I will write up am official rules/dates page like I did for the Sportsman series and will post it. But again, if I am going to do it, it will be in the new year.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see the "due date" be after the holidays from this end as I think I would be hard pressed to have mine ready before that with everything going on in the next couple months... :)

I got a nice little '41 Plymouth from Dave some time ago and we're very interested in this proxy, but we're signed up to build two cars for events due in January. After that, we could go headfirst....
