I am not really a fan of midget racing but can recognise great work when I see it....a lovely car you have created there.

Looks great - I always felt that monogram hot shot midget is one of the most iconic slot cars ever, even in modern resin cast versions.

So - are you saying those little radius bars and nerfs are cast metal? I have never seen those - not even the originals were setup like that. Where do they come from - a hobby casting effort?

A group of us sent a set of original Monogram Midget nerf bars and trim to "The Backshop" 20 years ago or so and he made repros for us in nickle silver metal. I don't know how many sets he ended up making, maybe 30-40 sets which we split among the 4 of us back then. Maybe this is one of those sets?

Hopefully Ed will sell the bodies, trim and windshields one of these days.

Not sure it may be. I'd love to get another set…I picked this one up from Chappy I believe. Realy did well with the donkey resin casting.
