Don Ely Mustang (kinda)

Postby chris » Sun Jul 05, 2015 3:21 am

Found a grainy picture of Don Ely's Mustang and really liked it. This is my version but shoulda taken the photos before it scored some race damage. Grafted on a Scalex Camaro bonnet and first attempt at bubble flares.

WOW! Thats a sharp looking Mustang right there. Stance is menacing, and the flares look great.
nice build

Chris - another outstanding build! I think you captured Don's car very well. Lots of bodywork on this one too, and I keep seeing more as I look at it. Super job!

Nice job....If your OLD like me you'll have a couple of prescription bottles laying around (err... ....a foam slot tire bottle)
Cut a slice off with the dremel & super glue 'em to the radius you cut in the body. Some automotive skim coat bondo & voila.....flares
.............................GOOD MODELING..........................
