David,
Thanks for sharing the build information. The track looks great and this proves that you don't have to have lots of room to enjoy having a track.

What a great little oval David!!!!
I think you have inspired me to build one myself!!!!!
I love the old coupes and especially like the '66 nova stockers!!!
SWEET! Just Sweet all the way around!!!!
I saved this post to my favorites.
Thank you for sharing the build process. I will refer to it when I decide to get started.

Very impressive effort. I was very surprised and the track was fun to run on to say the least.
It's builds like this, Shotgun's and others that should motivate others.
Well done Doc, well done.

Great post!!Just goes to show that one doesn't have to have a huge room with a 200 foot track to have fun.
Thanks for sharing.

NOW I remember why that sounded so familiar! "A three hour tour..." The S.S. Minnow!
Okay, now I can enjoy the track and all the build pictures. That was driving me crazy.

Great build, shows that routing a track isn't hard.

Thanks for the positive comments. It was fun and I'm happy to have it.
Rob - yep, that's the reference. Just so we get this out of the way - its Mary Ann, not Ginger that I like.

I'm not crazy - my mother had me tested...
The Boss did some brass teaching while he was here and so while I've not built a complete chassis or anything I'm still playing. Not much different than sweating copper pipe which I do like a pro so the curve isn't as steep as I thought.

Harry brought me some parts and an old stinker chassis to play with so this morning I soldered a bit on it and fixed a few minor issues it had. Since the Cougar Harry built me sacrificed its chassis to my Nova a while ago, this fit the Cougar perfectly!
Now I've got two to play with ;)

3 hour build, 4 X 12. Hmmm, I have a 4 X 12 mdf table that I have been mending from my last track build. I think I see the new "Grey Wolf Raceway" here. I always thought Mary-Ann was the hot one.
