Home of Old Fords - Blowing The Dust Off

Talk about a couple of old warriors. While testing the Sportsman cars, one thing lead to another as it usually does and Locoracer Tom dug out one of the earliest old Carrera stockers we made. I had to join in of course and with some tire work, a little oil, and a few "adjustments" in the interior areas (they fell down) we were having a time :)

These cars were built a LONG time ago. Back before we had any real parts to speak of. Both cars had old K&D tires and major cutting/altering to try and get that "dirt tracker" look.

Think these hammers have seen some miles?

The rear bumper on my #4 car is just hanging there. No I won't fix it.

Many moons ago these were the stars of the Show-Me :) And honestly, with some clean up these old Fords still haul.

Fun to go back in time a little and bust out the old heroes.

Very cool Boss!!

Yeah, it is cool to find some old car you haven't run in ages, and find it still runs well. Makes one wonder why it ever got put away.

Speaking of old cars, is Tom still driving that old Fiesta? :o

Nobody but Tom could keep one going, I bet! Friend of mine had one in the 1970s. Ugliest shade of goldenrod yellow you ever saw. Drove that _____box for 20 years.
