I started with an old Carrera Pontiac 66 GTO 25482 Limited Edition and chopped it up :o

Built a simple ladder frame chassis but will be using the original body mounts

I made everything, motor mount, guide mount all from K&S brass

I turned the wheels from .625 T60-66 Aluminum rod



I did a little damage to the car to show some raced look

I have one of these ponty bodies that already has the wheel arches trimmed out for big wheels
And was planning on building it up in this style of race car

I think I will have to build it for the 2017 show down
Might as well add another kiwi in the mix

Those GTO's do look great even if made into a dirt racer.
