Been getting a little bench time in now and then. Thought I would start on some of my Beach racer cars I have been wanting to build.
This is one of my own castings, a 40 Chevy. Mounted on a Carrera Petty Plymouth chassis. great runner!

I like these cars a lot, and would look into building one for a Showdown-type fun run.

Am I thinking proxy here? It would be really easy to set out a beach/road track like the old beach course. You could even use plastic track for one side and the turns and MDF for the straight. It would be fun.
