Show-Me Showdown Schedule of Events

Ok, just a timeline for those interested.



One final trip to the post office.

Any remaining models will have the photo shoot that afternoon and posted for voting.



For those used to regular proxy events, this is the qualifying/timing night for each car. Each model will be ran in the RED lane on our oval and the times/laps will be posted.

This is where some of you will find out who is the fastest.



We have plenty of racers showing up Saturday. Should be a full Skunkworks of eager, highly skilled drivers.

We will run these cars in "Combat Mode" meaning all 4 lanes will be raced as you would normally see just like last year. Each car will go through all 4 lanes and laps/times recorded.
All drivers will vote on their favorite car and we will tally up the local votes and post accordingly.
Remember, this is a FUN run. You actual "official" times will be the qualifying done on Friday.



A poll will be posted and ran through Monday.

Bragging rights will be handed out quickly :)

I will be taking photos and a few videos and will try and post "Semi Live" when I can. If I can get live video to work smoothly, I'll have a show on Friday night.

We're supposed to be snowed in here in Virginia this weekend, so I'll be tuned in!

Yeah, we're looking for a foot here on top of our breezy hill. I have stocked up on taco makings, French onion soup makings, and I have French bread dough resting right now. And I finally got my car back. Drives like brand new, which it should with a totally rebuilt transmission (still many thousands cheaper than going to another car, and I get to keep my Corvette engine!).

Well, USPS say the car is in Springfield as of 1:04 PM. I guess it's getting closer....

Darn, those burgers look good!

Short update, the #31 just left the Springfield USPS facility! Still think she is going to miss the Friday run, but one never knows.
