While work is progressing on the '48 Chevy - it was time to start the VERY nice HRW Camaro Sportsman casting I had sitting here!
There was very little flashing to contend with - so after a little bit of dremel work to remove the grill and a touch of sanding, she is nearly ready for primer!

I have one of those also sitting on the desk in front of me. I have already decided on the livery, and received the special Sportsman Showdown package from SCCC. Now I have to get the chassis built.

I love that colour, and even its name. I guess I'm going to have to get some of that, eh?

I've got my chassis soldered together, have a bit of filing and sanding to do on it, and then I'll post some pics.
