Looks good. If you can pull it off it would be great.

I forgot to mention that the 1:1 car was a Hot Rod Magazine project car a few years ago. I can't find any Earnhart "3"s, but I did find a silver number with an outline, so I hope that works out okay. I guess Teresa priced herself out of the decal market.

If you do decide to replica the look of the car in the photo don't give up on having realistic numbers. I enlarged the photo and cropped out the number 3 as is own image which can be scaled up or down in size as needed. If you or anyone else in our merry band of modelers prints their own decals I send it along. I recently purchased decal paper but haven't tried using it yet.

It looks good Rob. Still figuring out the chassis for mine, but have been busy clearing things out of the house so not a lot of time for working on cars. :)

That is certainly a strange picture, the track surface looks like wood grained vinyl. I would expect that decent pictures of the Ray Hendrick #11 would be easy enough to find. I believe that Polecat has the decals for that car. Here it is in HO.

That's pretty danged good detail for HO. My fingers ache just thinking about it. I'm going to have to get serious about selling all my TJet stuff. I've been threatening to do it for years. These days, my eyes hurt when I do 1/32 because I need cataract surgery. I hate to think how my hands would hurt doing that little beauty.
I found the decals, and now I have eight good (real) color pictures of the car. Each one is different. That car changed so much over the years. I can tell that your car is from one of those at a glance. I know just which one it is.

Those have to be the best looking HO dirt cars I've ever viewed. Nice work!

They look like cars from the H.O. Circuit of Champions,H.O.C.O.C..one of their rules were for the Modifieds, that if the car is a replica of a real car.It had to be as correct as you can make it.
