Looking forward to racing on the (new improved) South Shore Speedway in Patchogue, NY, on Long Island.

You should probably change the subject line to include "Long Island" or something so people will know where the track is roughly located.

I just ordered a New Modified and a New Super-Modified for the upcoming season - Now I just have to tune them up to get them race-ready when they arrive.


Here is my old Super-Modified which will be retired I guess, or used as a back-up car...

It is fun to keep these old warriors on the shelf to remind us of the fun we had with them.

I have a couple that are in need of a rebuild, but I keep putting it off. They look good to me as is.

I want to bump the thread in case any local Long Island 'boarders' might be interested...

Opening night at South Shore Speedway is Friday, October 4th - that's tomorrow!

Looking forward to the New Season - it is staring a bit early this year - but it has been a while since last season.

Should be good.
