Nobody Sell Your JK Sprint Car Kit !

Ok, so nobody wants to sell their JK sprint car kit - I can understand that.
I don't really want to buy one.
But I do want to get hold of a photocopy/scan of the kit or the instruction leaflet that came with it - or both.
Oldskoolslotz sold some kits a few months ago, but he can't remember who to.
You know who you are . If you haven't built them yet, I'd appreciate it if someone could oblige.I want to re-scale it to 1/32.(And if you have built them, why haven't you posted photos?)
Living in hope :confusion-waiting:
David.

There was a thread some time ago by persons who had purchased kits and
built them. Myself included, but since my chassis were wire cut prototypes, I
didn't get instructions. I believe Jerry still has a few kits if anyone is interested.
Contact him via the JK Products website.
If you are going to get some chassis made, and are going to wire cut or laser cut
them, be sure to purchase pre-hardened 1095. It is usually sold in the soft state
for hardening after machining. Because of the thin cross sections, heat treating after
they are cut can be dangerous. The thin sections may burn. But if that is your only
option, get the parts vacuum heat treated to reduce the risk of ruining them.

Thanks for that valuable advice.
I had understood that all the kits were sold, so I'll contact JK again.

I believe I bought one of theses kits. When I get home later this morning, let me look and I will scan copy of chassis assembly and get to you.

David,
I haven't been on any web site for avery long, long time! I make SCALE
1/32 sprint cars, and coupe ,coaches. I also make a scale looking Reading modified
version of the coupes and coaches. I make alum. wheels both sloted and solid. I am
in the process of redesigning my vacuum former. I sold a few of thembut didn't know
if there was any interest in true HOME SCALE OLD SCHOOL dirt track racing cars.
Also whether they were scale enough for everybody.
I will try and post some pic's if there is interest. I am not very good with
computers so you will have to bare with me. I rather have root canal then operate this
machine!
Keep the shiny side up,
Fleck
