My neighbor gave me that lamp - the first thing my wife said was "Where in the basement are you going to put that thing?" It plays "Hound Dog", so I'm trying to figure out a way to trigger that whenever the track call button is pressed.

"It's like they've turned slot car racing into a contact sport."
I did that years ago!

It WAS great fun racing on that track! Thanks for hosting yesterday Jeff. Those BRISCA racers were far and away my favorite class of all your scratchbuilds. I love the low-slung motor on that 1:1 car. The 1/24 scale hardbodies are always fun too. Both classes provide for lots of nerfing and careful passing.

Those are great looking cars. Is there a modern equivalent to those AJ's slicks and wheels?

I've altered my oval into a BriSCA-themed track. I've already started building a Slotstox heritage F-1, and am in the process of converting three Heller Mini-Coopers into Ministox. Plan to run a banger class on my dual fig 8 but will have to bite the bullet and rout a Skotstox-type oval with a squeeze back straight. My 1/43 track is located in Monroe, NC.
