race cooridinater

Postby Halfj-7 » Sun Feb 16, 2014 4:49 pm

Going to have family n friends over to race the oval. I have both trakmate and race coordinator. We want to set either one for heats/semis/main style with lane rotation during each race, say after a certain amount of laps. Not concerned if the program tracks every seed or advancement to next race, we can do that on paper. Question is, will either program work?

Trakmate works pretty good for me. Since you have both then you might try setting up some test races to see which one you like?

I use a trackmate system for all my races. You can set up a lap or timed heats.if you have 4 racers set it up on a rotion race and than set up the number of laps or time you want to race . If you have more than 4 racers set it up for a round robin rotation race with laps or timed race . Each program will follow each driver througththe complete race and give you a finish order. I use a european rotation so you get to drive next to differant drivers and not the same guy every heat. You can also set up a printer that will print out each heat so the drivers can se how they did in each heat . Also dont forget to set a minamum or brake out time so you dont loes laps on a track call.also set the time that the lap counter stops after the track is turned off on a track call.hope this helps you out.
