Boyz came across a neglected old Grand National warrior and decided to rebuild it for the Dundee Speedway, who has revived Riverside 1984 NASCAR style road races.

Working with a 1/32 MPC kit and chassis and power from a Scally NASCAR.
Needs a shorter wheelbase, and some major chassis trimming.

Yes, great kit. I have some seen some great renditions over the years and I am just betting the Boyz will do it justice.

Looking forward to seeing this one Denny. I love those Grand Nationals and can't wait to see what the Boyz do with it. Great score on that kit!

Boyz liking the look already in its earliest stages too!
$10 at a train and toy show, couple that with a $29.99 Scally chassis add 5 - 10 hours of fun building it, and years of racing it, is quite a deal for $39.99 and a couple of 40% off rattle cans of paint from Hobby Lobby!!!

Main color applied and Boyz are pondering a flashy bright yellow accent color or a more subdued flat black accent color.
Really need to tackle the chassis realignment so the Regal starts sitting right!!

I was one of the yellow votes myself, will see what other chatter the Boyz get here and in Dundee-ville these next couple of days while the racing blue dries and the Boyz concentrate on the chassis.
