Hi,
I'm wondering if 1/24 racing (using a RTR chassis like the H&R with nascar body) is possible (on 4 lanes) on artin oval ? I don't mind if cars are close between the lanes, since it's the nature of nascar and stock car racing, but is it really playable ?
thanks

There is a brief discussion of this in this thread
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7136As shown in the picture several posts down, the large sedans will barely fit. (the ones in the picture obviously are not Nascar, but they are about the same size.) When they were lined up at the start it was questionable whether they would fit on the track - they did touch each other. However, once moving they could "scrape" past one another.

thanks !
My track will have very wide radius curves (R3 to R4 four lanes), so maybe it could work. Nascar cars doesn' have side mirrors too, so maybe it could help too.
If anyone have some feedback on this...

Do yourself a favor, use 1/25th scale kits instead of 1/24. You may not think so, but it makes a difference. In the past 10 years we have used almost 1/25th scale exclusively.

Wow, difference is obvious ! Thanks for the tip ! I'll go for 1/25, then, when I'll want to go bigger scale !
thanks
