Cool!! Able to hold the camera and race on the limit at the same time. Far too talented.

Harry can you do me a favour. Are you able to go 1-2mm larger in rear wheel diameter and repeat the run. Id be super keen to know how the two runs compare. Im convinced youd pull faster lap times with larger tyres.

Without a doubt, you have shown you have working guide flag stops! :D That is shown when the car hits the stop on the outside and then again on the inside of the lane.

What a difference between asphalt and dirt racing. On asphalt we would be finding out what's not working in the suspension. On dirt you would simply put a larger diameter tire on the right rear.

Cool video, nice music. That's what it is all about.

Thanks for sharing.

LOL, well thanks.

Mr. Fabio, yes a taller tire makes a difference. Sadly I am in between timers at the moment on the Show-Me. But soon...very soon :)

Is that 60 fps? The latest iPhone offers that frame rate.

The video definitely has that smooth slow-mo fast-frame rate look - really cool to watch.

Looks great - I would like to see a brace of cars working the corners - very interesting to see the cars as they actually handle - in real time, one blink and it is all over.

Thanks.

Harry, what is the foot print of your oval and lane spacing?
I finally have enough room for my first wood oval! I was curious if a 5'x 16' would make a good flowing oval or should i shorten it by a couple of feet. The width is max but I can go all the way to 16'. I am really concerned about the proportion of the length and width ratio. It will 3 lane and wide enough for the home built chassis like your doing. I really liked to drag race 1/24 scale slots years ago because I built my own chassis. Watching you roll out one stock car after another has really inspired me to finally get my wood oval up and start crafting cars like the old days! It's been a long time coming.

It is 5x16. I think 16 feet is just about ideal, but you could go 14 and still have plenty of straight to enjoy the models. Lane spacing around 3 7/8.

We are not using any high powered commercial motors though.

Glad you are inspired :) Look forward in see you build a track.

If your not rubbing your not racing!

Cool video Harry

Hope you start including these on your car reviews. I think you would raise the bar on car reviews by including video.

Thanks,

Ryan

Great video and nothing like a little Dave Edmunds. I thought I was the only one who remembered him.

I expect you to add a little "crawlin' from the wreckage" to your next video" :music-rockout:

Thanks guys. I am not a video expert as you can tell. I might try to add some in reviews...but we shall see :)
