Made some progress on my ASA Camaro Saturday, Not at all happy with the paint job. I may do a re-paint.
I can say that she will run!, this has been my first attempt to use PG Tires and CB wheels, up till now I have been using axle wheel kits from Carrera. They work fine, but I really like the Aluminum wheels and the Urethane tires!, It may not look like much, But this dog will hunt!.It handles very well on my track And I hope it will do well on a Wood oval.

Thanks Guys, It looks good from a distance,The clear coat is messed up pretty bad. I am going to let it cure for a few days, then see if I can polish it out. If not,It will probably get raced as is. Cause after all,it is a stocker and its going to get beat up!
And Harry, I don't know about talent at this,But I sure am enjoying myself! I will be building more stockers on this platform as I really like the way they drive and run.

Cool looking car. What chassis did you use?
Before you start completely over on the paint try one thing first. Mist it w/2 or 3 light coats of "Dullcoat". I know it sounds goofy but even if you want it to look like the paint is glossy, gloss has a "scale" too. As it stands now you've got a "scale" coat of the gloss on that is 1/8" deep (scalewise). You need to knock that down a bit. Mask the clear windows off first though.

I will give that a try, I use it on my jalopy's to age them a bit. I built my own brass chassis for this one
