I really like all of these - it is always cool to see the cages done in brass etc.
Inspires me to make up a more contemporary midget like what you have shown here.
Great work!

I really like looking at all the variations people come up with for sprint cars.....It really seems wide open for creativity and ingenuity......Great work, thanks for the inspiration...

Are those pop rivets holding on the body panels ?
All have very detailed and craftsmanship quality .
Are the Sprint Plus cars suitable for a 1/32 scale home track ?
Thx ,
Gonzo

The stock sprint plus has a 3'' wheel base...the width is up to you....

These are really nice builds !
I'm just a bit surprised by the amount of lead weights on the last one! Such low profile, well designed chassis should not need so much weight ? Especially with the fat tires too ?
Perhaps it's a matter of driving preference ? I know I have a 1/32 nascar with a lot of weight inside, wich is a pleasure to race. But I also have other cars with almost no extra weight (apart from a bit of weight behind the guide).

Maybe he is running a Cheetah II motor (40,000 rpm)
Racing Nasscars with flexi 1 chassis back in the late 80's weight kept the front from lifting out of the slot due to a lot of glue on the track with wide tires....High speed and a lot of traction, something is going to give if the back tires aren't going to break loose....

we use alot of weight because our tracks a flat wooden ovals and we do not use glue on the track. We use cheetaha II's box stock motors, and we use silicone rear tires. My car weight between 5.50 ounces to 6.10 ounces the cars handel great.
Stay tuned for more updates soon.
