Finished this tonight. Not a color combo all will like, I just wanted something different.
MT Racing Resins 57 Ford body, SLIXX decals, Krylon piant. 2 coats of Future (Pledge) and a wax.

The Stinker 2.0 chassis. MT5 for power. No, this car is not for the Showdown, this has the "house" motor as the rest.

It will race :)
Thanks for lookin'

Seriously? Now you are just showing off!
That is just bad to the bone and I LOVE the color combo! What a looker!!! I'm also curious if the offset proved to have any advantage.

You made a better choice than I did for that engine. I have spent three days trying to wedge an engine in that little space. I'm getting close now. Today I spent a "snow and ice" day getting an inline 6 into that space. I cut out the center grill space, scratchbuilt a radiator, and still didn't have enough room.
I see the patented "bicycle" card for the air cleaner support peeking through from underneath. I should have done that. Looks real good. What is that green? Its perfect.

Thanks guys. Needless to say, I am really having fun with these :)
Rob...here is the paint.

And assorted pics.

After the first base of primer I add details I want. Vent holes, hole for AF, etc.

Before the second primer coat I like to shoot flat black inside. Just me.
Then I wet sand with 1000 grit and give it a second coat.

Then I give the primer a final sanding with 2000. I try to make sure to do this lightly and not sand through the primer, But it happens in very small areas. No issue really.

Then base coat.
Thanks guys for the nice words.

Thanks guys.
Wood, if you mean the mounting plate, I use Testors regular model glue. I then add a bead of hot glue on each corner for added strength.
