I have to say I have been having a hoot with the F1 car. They are just fun models to pilot. This new rubber? NOT BAD. I will swap to PG because my older ones finally needed new shoes, but I can see some folks keeping the stock rubber easily.

I've always liked the stock Ninco rubber. Not sure if I've ever swapped Ninco tires for something else, actually. :)
Not buying many slot cars at all right now. The only ones I'm getting are cars that I pre-ordered at the shop. Saving cash, that kind of thing.
