Its kinda like a scaled down Torino, isn't it. I want that one and the blue livery. I was hoping Scaley would put out the dark green and gold livery, too, but I haven't seen it.

Good looking machine! I really like these and agree that while not correct, they fit into the TA Series very well from a fantasy perspective.

That Aussie FORD always reminded me of a kitbash project - namely a '71 Torino and '71 Mustang.

Nice review on a car we Americans never knew much about. You might want to double check the offset magnet. It appears from the photo that the motor is offset. An offset magnet would be a real animal, if that were the case. Overall a great looking car that fits right in with Trans Am. Kudos Scalextric!

If you check the photo again, you can see the magnet position comes directly behind the motor out of the box. It is offset as is the motor.

The optional magnet pocket in front is centered.

If you check other Trans-Am models like the Mustang and Camaro, the rear pocket on all of them is also slightly offset. They come out of the box with the magnet in the front of the motor.

Thanks for pointing that out about the front and rear magnet pockets being aligned differently. I was looking at the front one which seemed normal.
The rear being offline seems wonky as does the motor offset.
