This was an under-rated car when it came out, and it has a lot of potential. A few things hold it back, though. First, the motor is too hot for this car. The 4H is a monster, but much better suited to the LMP cars than the relatively narrow Porsche. There is some excellent design in this car, and one or two nasty flaws. The biggest flaw is the part of the chassis that holds the rear of the pod in place. There is a set screw adjustment in the car to limit the float, but with almost no pressure on the hex wrench at all, it's possible to push the pod's tabs straight down through the pod holder, breaking the chassis. Don't ask how I know this. Also, the body posts are a bit too tight for the body screws, and they can split.

Still, SCX was really moving in a good direction with these cars. They really impressed me with the design, and just a few tweaks to the implementation, and they'd have had some real winners.
