Thanks for another great review! You saved me some trouble, since I was planning one for the same car. :)
The floating rear axle amazes me. It *should* lead to the crown gear being chewed to mush, but I've never actually seen it happen, and I have several of their ProShock cars. It does seem to lead to energy loss in the drivetrain, though, as none of these cars is ever as quick in a straight line as their solid-axle cousins. The NC-9 should make this car quicker than it is -- every other NC-9 car I have scoots. But the car's drive is fun, which is exactly what I want from a rally car.

That is a great review, thank you.
Anyone have a side by side comparison with the Fly version?

I'm astonished by how good that car looks. I have one Ninco that when I showed it to my wife, she asked if I got it out of a Happy Meal.

Yeah, the 356 mold is 10 years old -- an eternity in the slot car world. And somehow, it's still the best 356 available...
The Ninco cars with new molds are quite another story. They've really stepped up their game. :)

Thank you Michael, that is exactly what I was looking for. I think the Fly version looks better but they are not as easy to find... Time to start hunting on eBay!
