Just received my copy of [b]IMSA 1969-1989[b]. Seven pounds of history of the organization. While not a coffee table book, there are many interesting photos. There’s even a shot of Al Holbert going through Turn 1 at Mid America Raceways.
There’s even coverage of the International Marijuana Smugglars’ Association days.
Got it from Octane Press. Early priced at $75.00 (regularly $100); coupon code RACER19 was good for $10 off.

I just purchased this book from octanepress.com.
At Daytona they wanted over $100 bucks for this book so I didn’t pick it up then.
On the web site you can order for $75.00 use coupon code RACER19 to save additional $10.00!
That will cover the shipping any way, so I thought I’d share. Not sure how long the deal,is so get one while you can.

Cheers!

My total was $73.92. Anything to save a buck or two.
I’d also recommend the Sports Car Racing in Camera series. Lots of good photos in those. The F1 is covered in Formula1 Racing in Camera. Each book covers one decade; some decades have two volumes.
As books are getting pretty pricey, I tend to do my shopping on eBay. I find that cheaper than Amazon, and some stockists in England have the best price with free or cheap shipping.
