I would say that Dan drops in for a beer now and then but I see he has moved to Udon so maybe not so often now.

Does it beep now if the lap time is lower? It is not so much what the time is, but that it was quicker than before. "Red" light drag style system stops some of those who try to gain advantage by jumping the start.

Will the 4 lane version be applicable to wood tracks, and if so, what are the requirements for installation?

I jumped on this one way too soon.
It is a great system, but I bought v1.0 specifically for drag racing.
For road racing it would be fine.
The v2 system has more drag functions (hole shot win, etc).
Plus, I race 4 gears so also need the sensor upgrade.
If I can ever sell the v1.0, I'll buy the v2. If not, it sits on a shelf, in its box, collecting dust.

It might be true that "He who hesitates has lost",,,but it is also true that "He who jumps too soon wastes money".

That's very cool...and a much better option than a new computer, imo.
